“I feel I am best suited to treating three specific conditions, in addition to my general practice. 1. Women's Health-which includes menstrual disorders (PMS), infertility and menopausal disorders. 2. Pain Management-including acute and chronic muscle and joint pains and sports injuries. 3. Non-responsive Conditions-including tinnitus, fatigue, skin conditions or any chronic condition not responding to Western medicine. From experience I find that a multi-dimensional approach works best to resolve intractable conditions. So, in addition to acupuncture I often recommend Chinese herbs or other therapies like yoga, tai chi or massage therapy.
I utilize Chinese herbs, acupuncture and nutritional therapy to maximize menstrual and overall health. My goal is to become each patient's health advocate and guide. I aim to be sensitive to each patient's needs. For pain management, I work to reduce symptoms and heal the root cause.
I am an excellent listener and I take the time to explain procedures and options for each patient. Sometimes acupuncture is indicated for healing, sometimes Chinese herbs, and sometimes both. I also will refer patients out when Chinese medicine is not the treatment of choice.”
