“I am licensed and certified by the (NCCAOM), and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, and a member of (ASOM) the Acupuncture Society of Massachusetts. My higher education is from Ohio Wesleyan University, with a Masters in Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupunture, where I currently hold a faculty position along with numerous advanced level workshops around the country. Over six years of clinical experience in Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture with a focus on women"s issues, pain management and stress disorders. I work exclusivly one-on-one with my patients through the entire visit.
I use either Chinese or Japanese style Acupuncture with an emphasis of treating the underlying issue and combine that with local treatments as needed. I recommend herbs to many of my patients to increase healing and promote balancing of the treatment. Education about prevention and lifestyle issues are also discussed.
I treat only one person at a time. Treatments are combined with multiple modalities including a Reiki session. As a healthcare practitioner, "I believe, once someone is on your treatment table, there is so much that can be done to promote healing while being a co-creator of someone's health.”
