“As an acupuncturist my goal is to not only assist patients in their healing process, but also to educate them in health awareness. What draws me to acupuncture is the way in which Chinese Medicine looks at health and healing, in that health is an ongoing process, not something we only think about when we go to the doctor. I try to instill this idea by educating patients on how nutrition, stress, exercise and other lifestyle factors affect their health and well being.
I was trained in and practice 3 styles of acupuncture: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM) which includes myofascial and trigger point release techniques, and Kiiko Matsumoto, a Japanese style based upon classical Chinese and Japanese acupuncture and western biomedical concepts.
I have experience treating a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal pain, migraines, gynecological disorders, infertility, asthma and allergies, insomnia, and anxiety.”
