“I strongly support the integration of Eastern and Western medicine in treating illness and maintaining the best health possible. I treat women, men, and children with a wide range of conditions in my practice in Manhattan. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I graduated Valedictorian from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. I received the Baron Gold Award for Academic Excellence and the Kamwo Award for Academic Achievement in Traditional Chinese Medical Herbology.
During my clinical education, I practiced at Lutheran Medical Center, providing acupuncture to women during childbirth, and at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, treating women with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses. Before becoming an Acupuncturist, I graduated Cum Laude from Barnard College, Columbia University. I then joined the Peace Corps and lived in Mali, West Africa for over two years. My interest in health care began in Mali where the focus of my work was improving the wellbeing of women and children.”
