“Kim Verstringhe is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Maine with Specialty Certification in Custom-Made Chinese Herbology. She is a graduate of the School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the New York Chiropractic College. Kim grew up in central New York and attended Unity College in Unity Maine where she studied Outdoor Recreation. She became a Registered Maine Guide on the Penobscot, Kennebec and Dead Rivers. Kim is NCCAOM Board Certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. She completed internship training at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China in 2006.

After becoming licensed as an EMT and working on ski patrol at Sugarloaf Mountian, she wanted to become more involved in patient care and decided to move back to New York to attend acupuncture school. She currently lives in Carrabassett Valley.”
