
“Dr. Ming Yang is a practitioner with a unique educational and training background. She has had systematic and intensive training in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has a medical degree, a Ph.D. in Neurosciences and a master's degree in the Science of Acupuncture. She conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania, and then became a Research Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Neurology in the Medical School of Thomas Jefferson University. She is now going to focus on her clinic acupuncture practice at Integrative Medicine Center at Jefferson, as well as at her private clinic in Southern New Jersey.
Dr. Ming Yang began studying acupuncture and herbal medicine over 28 years ago while earning her medical degree in Western Medicine in West China University of Medical Sciences, one of the four most prestigious medical school in China. She went on to obtain her Master's degree in Acupuncture from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM). She did her internships in Manhattan and Long Island, New York. Currently, she is a Board Certified and Diploma licensed acupuncturist in NJ, NY and PA.
Dr. Ming Yang has over 20 years' training in both Western and Oriental medicine. She has a strong desire to introduce traditional Chinese medicine to American society. She has great compassion for her patients in South Jersey and Philadelphia, particularly those suffering from the side effects of conventional medications and takes great satisfaction in bringing them relief.”
