“In the past four years I have treated many different issues including infertility, pain syndromes, digestive imbalances, insomnia and much more. The patients who seem to respond most favorably to my work want to be more present in their bodies. Prior to receiving my Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine I was a massage therapist. I have found the combination of empathic touch and needling points to enhance energy flow to be quite effective in releasing trauma and tension in the body. I see myself as a facilitator and witness to the patient's healing process.
I use a variety of techniques including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Acupuncture, Reiki, CranioSacral, Reflexology, visualization and colored light on acu-points. My work is gentle and I am deeply reverent of each patient. Together we clear disease; and open to growth, balance and well-being.
Unlike most acupuncturists I do not leave the room after the needles are inserted, unless the patient requests this. I stay and do acupressure, gentle rocking, and massage. Sometimes there is little conversation as the patient relaxes deeply. Sometimes we talk through the entire session. Each session is based on the patient's needs.”
