“Acupuncture can be used to help most any health condition. The key principle to remember is that we are treating the person in order to help the bodymind heal itself. Yes, we are treating the condition, but as it relates to the person. Most people get better just from the acupuncture treatments themselves. If the acupuncture itself is not enough, then other modalities and self help care are essential. For example, dietary modifications, herbal medicine, exercise, getting more rest, and managing stress more effectively are important basics for helping to heal the bodymind.

My work is focused on 1)helping the body immediately and directly through acupuncture and bodywork and 2) helping my clients identify what they need to do and how they can help themselves on a daily basis. The combination of immediate and long term modalities help build long term health.

I use the medicine. In other words, my goal is to take advantage of proven modalities to help a person improve their health from the first session. The principles and modalities of Eastern Medicine have a long history of effectiveness.”
