“I have been practicing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Pioneer Valley since 1980 with offices currently in Cummington and Northampton. My patients come from diverse backgrounds, ranging from those who have an established belief in the mind-body connection to those who arrive at acupuncture as a last resort when conventional treatments have failed. Regardless of how my patients come to acupuncture, I meet them where they are and work in partnership to facilitate healing. Treatment plans are designed for each patient to stimulate the body's natural healing energy and provide relief of symptomatic complaints.
Patients with acute or chronic pain make up a large portion of my practice. I also treat many patients with a broad range of health issues including respiratory, reproductive, digestive and emotional problems. I find it very gratifying to help patients improve their quality of life using safe, natural methods.
Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are effective for balancing the body's natural cycles and energy. In addition to acupuncture using very fine sterile needles, I offer several non-needle methods including bio-magnets and mild electric stimulation of acupuncture points. This makes treatment accessible to everyone including children.”
