I learned Traditional Chinese Medicine at one of the most respected institutions in the field. My background consists of a solid foundation in Western and Eastern medicine. In my practice I conduct an initial interview where your complaint, medical history and lifestyle are reviewed. I believe that the vast majority of individuals seeking relief or help with a condition, will most certainly benefit from acupuncture. Most people can feel better immediately, reduce pharmaceutical intake and avoid invasive procedures. Finally, acupuncture and herbal medicine often can provide you with a sense of ownership and participation in your health.

I present patients with a treatment plan that includes an approximation of visits needed, recommended herbal formulas, dietary and exercise advice, etc. I contact new patients after their first treatment for feedback and answer any questions. I aspire to offer compassion, my knowledge and warmth to all patients.

I spent 20 years working with severely disabled individuals who often could not speak. As a result, I learned to 'listen' in different ways and am attuned to non-verbal communication. I am at ease working with individuals ranging in age from infancy to the elderly.
