Dr. Pearl Chen takes pride in providing her patients with treatments of the utmost quality and care. She specializes in alleviating everyday aches and pains involving the head, neck, shoulder, back, sciatic and joints; as well as addictions, allergies, insomnia and emotional distress. Patients have described her use of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine as 'restorative and natural' - not just treating the superficial symptoms, but by aggressively pursuing the root cause of the ailment. In stubborn and recalcitrant cases, she is known to use the very specialized Tung Acupuncture points.
Dr. Chen believes that every patient should be treated as an individual, and accordingly, she encourages a face to face consultation before treatment. Please feel free to contact her office with any questions about Oriental Medicine, treatment sessions, or to set up an appointment.
She is a graduate of the China Medical University in Taichung, Taiwan, where she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Western Medicine. In 1982, she received her M.D. degree; in 1998, Governor Jane Hall appointed her to serve on the Arizona State Board of Acupuncture Examiners.
