Todd George is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. He received a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College (MSOM) in 2005, and he has completed postgraduate clinical training in hospitals in Beijing, China. Todd was the first acupuncturist in North Carolina to complete the dry needling program of the Janet G. Travell, MD Seminar Series with Myopain Seminars, and he is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT). He is also certified in neuroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture and electroacupuncture.
Todd is known for integrating modern and traditional perspectives in an evidence-informed approach to treat pain and digestive issues. He uses a complimentary blend of different techniques, including: traditional acupuncture, neuroacupuncture, trigger point dry needling, Frequency Specific Microcurrent, scalp acupuncture and the Balance Method.
