Christine is a licensed R.N., with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and twenty plus years of a hospital based nursing career. She is also a Master and Diplomat of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine; having graduated from a Doctor of OrientalMedicine/Acupuncture program at the International Inst. of Chinese Medicine in SantaFe, N.M. I offer a holistic and integrated approach to treating people. I familiarize myself with my patients’ goals for health and I adapt my treatment methods to achieve results. My style is grounded in the belief that our bodies have an innate wisdom to heal. I hold space for patients to heal so they can feel more joy and openness in their bodies. I listen with my ears and my hands to shift patterns. Sessions promote health, build resilience, and create lasting change.

After 36 years of practicing, I still love witnessing how much my patients are helped by Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine! In a safe and collaborative setting I address a wide range of physical and emotional issues that patients bring to my office. It is one of the beauties of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine that it treats the whole person. I consider myself a family practice acupuncturist, in that I welcome patients of all ages. I treat acute, chronic & stress related health conditions and women's health issues.

I aim to help the patient bring their body into balance. Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at the body as a whole, taking into account diet as well as the fact that there may be stress in a patient's life. I work with the patient so that they fully understand their treatment plan.

Through acupuncture along with being a psychotherapist has helped me to empathize with and understand the needs of my patients on a deeper level because of my own healing journey. I understand what it is like to not be listened to, taken seriously, or be told my problems were psychological when my body didn't improve as expected. Acupuncture, supplements and healing foods helped me dramatically improve my health. I am still amazed at the broad range of health issues that acupuncture can treat successfully.I have been in practice since 2003 and the top four issues that seem to show up at my office time and time again are migraine headache, anxiety, allergies and issues relating to female reproduction which include menstrual, menopausal and fertility health. What sets acupuncture apart from other forms of medicine is that it seeks to address the underlying cause of illness. This approach is restorative to health bringing balance to body, mind and spirit.

I take great pleasure in caring for people with diverse health problems; working to bring harmony, strength, and wholeness to each person. I believe the body knows its way back to health with the correct treatment. My intention is to eliminate obstacles to recovery, my patients are the true healers.
