I began studying Chinese medicine in 1980 and have been practicing since 1992. My practice is devoted to delivering acupuncture and Chinese medicine in their ancient and authentic forms, free from the elaborations of mechanistic approaches, popular health trends, and other modern systems which are not part of Chinese medicine. Dr. Scapicio is an honors graduate of the Eastern School of Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture in Montclair, N.J. At the Eastern School, he was trained extensively in Traditional Chinese Medical Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture, and Five Element Acupuncture. He has performed clinical internships in Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture.
