I am an Expert in Acupuncture. I graduated from Cheng Du University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China after a 5-years-studying. I had been practicing Acupuncture and TCM since 1993. I has earned extremely valuable acupuncture clinical experience when I worked in China. If I have 10 times chance to treat people's Low Back Pain, I can make the Back Pain reliving about 80 percentage for most people. Some patient just fly from Georgia and Texas to Arizona for watching me because they can not get help from their local doctor. Some patient's Auto Injury finally got help from me. I've been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 20 years. I've owned two successful practices, now practicing in Sedona, Az, for the past 15 years. I treat each person individually, using well honed skills of pulse and tongue diagnosis. I focus on the root of problems as well as the symptoms. Dr. Dongsuk Jang is a Primary Healthcare Provider (PHP), licensed M.D in China. Dr. Jang graduated with a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University. He also graduated from Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine and received his Medical Doctor License in China. He is also licensed by the both Arizona Acupuncture Board and California Acupuncture Board of Medical Quality Assurance. Dr. Jang was born and raised in South Korea. He is a third generation of TCM doctor in his family with family secret specialties in pain management, wellness and balance of body functions based on oriental medicine.

When cultures moving from East to West or vice versa, we tend to standardize it for our own taste. Acupuncture has been practicing in the U.S. for some decades, undergoing its own face-lifting in many ways. I respect the energetic difference between here and Korea where I am from but still like to maintain the core philosophy of Oriental Medicine. As a retired professional ballet dancer, I have dedicated most of my life to the study of movement. I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. Once I stopped performing, it seemed only natural that I would gravitate toward a profession in the field of bodywork. Acupuncture was always helpful to me while I was dancing and I felt that practicing this amazing medicine would give me the opportunity to help others in the same way I was helped throughout my career. I am a career healthcare provider with a 23-year Western medical ICU background prior to entering the field of acupuncture/TCM. I have both degrees of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. The combined degrees allow me to have a good understanding of pathology from both disciplines.
