What I love about Five Element style acupuncture is that it helps to get at the root of long standing problems. Whether you are dealing with chronic pain, eating disorders, relationship issues, deep seated fear, anger issues, prolonged grief, feelings of isolation and sadness, all these things can be worked with with Five Element acupuncture. Though you may not think of acupuncture for emotional or mental issues, in Chinese Medicine they are not separate. Usually it is the emotional component that is the key to unlocking the physical manifestation of illness. This is deep and lasting healing.
I most enjoy working with people who are on a spiritual path that is Heart centered and views illness as an opportunity for growth and transformation. By supporting and deepening your connection to the Divine, you can move more easily beyond pain and suffering towards an infinite source of health.
I am the only Five Element practitioner in Rhode Island that can also prescribe Chinese Herbal Medicine. Which can be a great alternative for those who may be afraid of needles.
