Soyoung Choi, L.Ac, has been treating patients for more than 50 years with Dr. Sun K. Choi who is her father in both the United States and and Korea, and one of the earliest generations who established Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles. In 1996, I had the pleasure of being part of a group to study acupuncture in a hospital setting at the XiYuan Hospital of PRC and attend the 2nd International Symposium on Medical Qi Gong. The group was present for the opening ceremonies of the first government sponsored Medical Qi Gong Academy where we also underwent a rigorous course of training. In January 2006 I completed the Acupuncture Orthopedics course given by Lerner Education and received my credential to become a Diplomate of Acupuncture Orthopedics (NBAO).
