Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine make up a full medical system that treats just about anything. Acute ailments can be cleared up with just a few treatments. While chronic conditions take regular and longer term treatment, it is a worthwhile commitment for those in search of deep level healing that also includes a broadening and deepening spiritual awareness. This is what I am committed to in my practice. It is my life's work. While the subtlety of this medicine allows for the detection of subtle patterns before they become disease, this medicine is also effective for prevention.
My practice also includes Oriental Physical therapy (exercises that draw on my thorough knowledge of tai chi, qi gong and body mechanics) and tui na (Chinese style massage/acupressure/energy healing). My experience includes treating head injury and stroke patients, in a hospital physical therapy rehab setting, helping them recover and regain function.
