I have twenty two years of experience in private practice and have ten years of teaching experience at Daoist Traditions, Asheville and the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Houston, Texas. I have had the privilege to be credentialed to work as an acupuncturist in three hospitals in Houston Texas: M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Hermann S.W. Hospital and M-Health Rehabilitation. Additionally, I practiced at the Chinese Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic in Asheville for eight years and currently am a senior practitioner at the Alternative Clinic in Asheville and Tryon N.C.
I practice tangible Chinese Medicine and aim to achieve measurable results. I frequently use more than one treatment technique along with acupuncture. I may combine Chinese therapeutic body work, herbal medicinals, cupping and guasha with acupuncture.
I have extensive experience treating people suffering with orthopedic issues and pain including back, shoulder, neck, knee, arm and for foot injuries. I also treat various internal medicine issues for both men and women. I enjoy working with children, adults and the elderly.
