As an acupuncturist, my ultimate objective is to help the patients to feel the renewed sense of energy and obtain their maximum health potential. I am a California licensed acupuncturist and nationally certified diplomat of Oriental Medicine with over 20 years of experiences in the field. I studied Naturopathic Medicine in Germany where I began my studies in Eastern medicine with emphasis in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicinals/Herbology followed by 6 months of intensive studies in Beijing International University of Chinese Medicine. After earning master's and doctoral degrees in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in the US, I have expanded my clinical experiences in Japanese Acupuncture with an externship in Japan as well as Korean Acupuncture other than Chinese Acupuncture.

My goal is to help people get well naturally and avoid unnecessary drugs and surgery. I spend more time listening and talking to my patients than other doctors so I can focus on the root of their ailments. This helps me to address the patient's physical health and their mental health. I also encourage patients to make positive lifestyle changes to attain better treatment results. Dr.Ghim Lam, D.A.O.M. Dr. Liu received her Bachelor of traditional Chinese medicine, Master of Medicine and Ph.D. of Herbal Medicine from China. She was invited to Germnay for herbal research as an AvH research fellow and was a Post Doctor in Columbia University. She is the editor of the English book Traditional Herbal Medicine Research Methods. She is knowledgeable in both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine.
