As a retired professional ballet dancer, I have dedicated most of my life to the study of movement. I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. Once I stopped performing, it seemed only natural that I would gravitate toward a profession in the field of bodywork. Dr. Amy Eunjung Lee is a Primary Healthcare Provider (PHP), Dr. Lee graduated with a Ph.D in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from American Liberty University and received her Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine in South Baylo University in California. She is a licensed by the both Arizona Acupuncture Board and California Acupuncture Board of Medical Quality Assurance. I'm Jim Burnis, a licensed acupuncturist practicing in Gold Canyon Arizona under my LLC Acupuncture Alternatives. I earned my Degree in Acupuncture from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and am certified thru the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After graduation I completed a postgraduate internship at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed Advanced Herbalist Training thru the Institute of Chinese Herbology. I went to study abroad in Japan in 1988 and learned acupressure and therapeutic massage techniques. 10 years later, I came to America and went to Dongguk Royal University to study traditional Chinese medicine. Meanwhile, I spent 4 years working at a Chiropractors clinic. After graduating in 2005, I obtained my acupuncturist license and began to practice. I earned my PhD of Oriental Medicine at American Liberty University in 2008. I taught at Alhambra Medical University and worked at my mentor's clinic. From my years of studies and practice, I now specialize in treating pain and osteopathic related issues.
