I began my studies in 1976 with Macrobiotics, eventually studying Chinese Medicine via apprenticeship with a 5th generation Korean master. I was licensed in 1982 and been in private practice since then. My treatment style is a mixture of many approaches, the main emphasis is "Taoist style." I am also certified in Acutonics Sound Healing. I specialize in treating pain, injuries and internal diseases. My treatments are known for their rapid effects and gentle touch. I am well versed in treating physical, emotional and psychological disorders, both acute and chronic. You will be deeply listened to and cared for.

At North Port Acupuncture our goal is to help you achieve your optimal wellness and health using natural medicine. These techniques are gentle yet very effective in improving quality of life. Chinese medicine encompasses many modalities including acupuncture, acupressure, tuina, electrical stimulation, cupping, nutrition and food therapy, homeopathy and Chinese herbal medicine. With a vast array of treatment methods, it is appropriate for all ages. Treatments are usually done fully clothed and last from 30-90 minutes (much shorter for children). I graduated from the respected PCOM in San Diego and have a clinical specialty in gynecology and infertility from Nanjing University in China. Since graduation, I was the sports acupuncturist for Cirque du Soleil, La Nouba and the Orlando Predators. I have helped people recover from injuries, chronic pain and also corrected irregular menstrual cycles and helped women struggling with various fertility issues to conceive. Acupuncture increases microcirculation, improves heart rate variability, vagal tone and reduces the stress response by calming the nervous system.

Dr. Xining Wang is the third generation of Wang’s Traditional Chinese Medicine. She started to learn acupuncture and TCM from her father and grandfather at a very young age. She received her bachelor’s degree in TCM in 2008. She practiced at the 1st and 2nd of Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine University. She finished her Medical Clerkship at Dalian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Wang has worked at ATOM’s student clinic as Clinic Supervisor and Director Assistant since 2017.
