I am a nationally board certified acupuncturist, licensed in Georgia, with over 22 years of experience treating a wide variety of people of all ages. I love acupuncture because it works - naturally, with no extreme side-effects, for a wide variety of conditions. I believe passionately in the body's extraordinary ability to heal itself. I received my Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (N.C.C.A.O.M) and Licensed by the Georgia Composite Medical Board. Since 2002, as an acupuncturist, I have given thousands of treatments for various illnesses in the school’s clinic, at Cheng’s Acupuncture & Herb Center and since 2010 in my own business with 53 Acupuncture and Massage in Snellville.

Recently relocated from NC, my goal is to bring to young and old healing and balance. It is to awaken the synergy that exists from birth between the body, mind and spirit which enables us to live our lives with clarity and vision. "Treatment is not a one-way street". After receiving my masters and doctorate and teaching in my early career, I chose to follow a deeper passion through Oriental Medicine and received my Masters Degree in Acupuncture, Herbology and Oriental Medicine from the New York College for Wholistic Health, Education and Research and received my National Diplomate in Acupuncture from the NCCAOM.

Nicole Coughlin Ware is a Georgia native. She attended Vanderbilt University where she studied Psychology and Biology. After a stint in corporate America Nicole retuned to her original passion of health and medicine attending AIMC Berkeley CA. and received her Master's Oriental Medicine. She saw patients at the West Berkeley Clinic and AIMC's Community clinic and treated a wide variety of health related issues such as headaches, stress, insomnia, digestive complaints, and chronic aliments that did not respond to traditional medicine. Earning her California acupuncture and herbal license and NCCAOM degree she began her own practice in San Francisco.

Dr. McDonald graduated from Five Branches University with his Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree. His combined education in Oriental and Naturopathic medicine total over 12 years. His OM education also consisted of a Masters degree from East West College of Natural Medicine and a one-year postgraduate internship with Dr. David Cohen, DO, FAAMA. Prior to his Oriental medical education, Mel earned two doctoral degrees (ND-distance learning and NMD-residential). His naturopathic education was combined with a three-year externship at NEWS, with over 3,000 clinical hours alone and an additional 2,000+ hours didactic.

Dr. Yiming Lin is a Georgia licensed acupuncturist, NCAAOM certified. He has vast clinical and research knowledge in acupuncture, Chinese herbs, integrative medicine, nutrition, and research science gained through over 30 years of education and work experience in China and USA. He holds a PhD in Integrative Medicine from Shanghai Second Medical University (3 years), a Masters in Acupuncture and Moxibustion from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) (3 years in the Department of Acupuncture) and is trained as an Acupuncturist and Chinese Medical Doctor (Bachelor degree) at Hunan University of TCM (5 years in the Department of Acupuncture).

Junyong Heo obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China in 2001. He has more than 20 years of study and clinical experience in South Korea and China. He moved to the U.S. to continue his practice as a Georgia Licensed and Board-certified Acupuncturist.
