Dr. Liu graduated the top ranked acupuncture major at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1986. He worked in the largest Oriental Medicine hospitals in Tianjin as the Chief Resident using a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine for diagnosing and treating various diseases. Dr. Liu also obtained his Ph. D. degree and published in the top peer-reviewed journal Neuroscience Research (2000).

What I love about Five Element style acupuncture is that it helps to get at the root of long standing problems. I was trained in Beijing Advanced Medical School and have over eighty years of acupuncture treatment experience in the US and eight years in China. I specialize in fertility / infertility acupuncture, pain management acupuncture and stress disorders, but my practice is multi-fold and I work with far more than just that. I work with my patients from a holistic perspective, in which we look at diet, lifestyle and all else that can influence health. While I use acupuncture (and other Chinese healing modalities when necessary), I like to see that the patient is able to find freedom from symptoms and retain positive health on their own through their newly found knowledge about their health.

S. Erin Baldt, DAc, received her training from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM and is board certified by the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is vice president of the RI Society of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her internships have included: oncology, women's health, and spinal pain. She has staff privileges at Roger Williams Med, Ctr, and has a professional affiliation with the N.E, Anesthesiology Pain Management Ctr. She is on staff at The Miriam Hospital - specializing in the care of Oncology/Hematology patients. Dr. Baldt is also a member of the American Academy of Pain Management.
