The most common method used to stimulate acupoints is the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the skin. Pressure, heat, or electrical stimulation may further enhance the effects. In addition to a Masters in Acupuncture I hold a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) specializing in women's health. DAOM is the highest academic achievement available in the US. I have completed externships at EVMS and Shuguang Hosptial affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

She is a Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I have worked at Fairfax INOVA Hospital for over 9 years.
