I practice a modern style of acupuncture called dry needling. The principles are based in the biology and physiology of the body. All issues addressed by traditional approaches to acupuncture can be addressed quickly and effectively through dry needling, including headache and migraine, sports injuries and injury-prevention, musculoskeletal and arthritis pain, infertility and menstrual pain, and smoking cessation.

I am an accomplished alternative healthcare professional, with over 28 years of hands on experience in the bodywork field. I am passionate about acupuncture because of what it has done for me personally, and the positive results that I have witnessed for so many of my patients. It is important to me as your practitioner, to provide a treatment plan that is unique to you, and supports your health goals. I usually ask that you commit to 3 treatments. Generally, results are experienced by then. At that time we will re-evaluate and determine which course of action is best.

Using various schools and methods of acupuncture and its related practices (diagnosis via the senses, touch, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, plum blossom, essential oils, crystals, magnets) we arrive at an understanding of the body-mind pattern and its treatment. I often prescribe Chinese herbs to address acute and chronic patterns. Modalities are selected based on your sensitivities and needs, as well as the levels we choose to address in treatment.
