“I am committed to helping patients to achieve inner balance and a stronger sense of self. I combine the latest techniques in Oriental Medicine and counseling to allow patients to restore harmony with their environment and reconnect to who they really are. I work with patients to improve self-confidence, motivation, relationships and their commitment to doing what is right for themselves, such as exercising and preparing healthy meals. In our sessions I help them to actually "feel" the experience of emotional balance, making it easier to train the mind to return to that state.

“At Maye Holistic Med", we work with a variety of challenges: Stress, Depression, Anxiety, Pain Management, Trauma (emotional or physical), Cancer, Preventative medicine and Emotional Wellbeing. Bio-energetic Ablation, developed by Dr. Maye, is an important adjunct treatment for many conditions. Bio-energetic Ablation helps to remove biophysic blockages, [foci]. The initial cause of Foci are almost always emotional. Foci occur as a result of trauma, which the patient was not fully capable of processing at that moment. The coping mechanism locks into a patient 's neural chemistry. When faced with similar circumstances, repetition of the memory response reoccurs, creating similar foci.

Acupuncture in Miami - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. Miami acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.
Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into a number of trigger points on your body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.
'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
