He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He was the director of the Acupuncture Dept. in China, a Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association, Professor of New York College of Health Professions, Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists.
