My ideal patient is one who is willing to be a co creator in their health process. I specialize in digestive disorders, immune issues, pain, hormonal issues and fatigue. I treat all ages. I use acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle recommendations and muscle response testing to identify core imbalances as well as herbal and nutritional recommendations. Your willingness to make lifestyle and dietary changes that help improve health and your symptoms is a big plus.

We BELIEVE : The body has its own way of healing. Sometimes, because of blockage of the body's energy (called Qi {Chee}), the body loses this natural ability. I use the combination of extensive knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a deep passion for healing to help my patients feel and look their best without the harsh effects and risks of the Western methods. I am a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist trained in Chinese, Japanese and Daoist Medical Arts. I utilize herbal medicine along with TuiNa massage, Gwa Sha, Qi Gong, cupping, moxibustion, electroacupuncture and magnet therapy.

Dr. K.Zhang holds a PhD degree from Fujian Medical University and a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) in Chinese acupuncture from New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), MCPHS and the pain program from Tufts University School of Medicine. Before coming to US, Dr. Zhang had practiced in China for years. He is a national Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, certified by NCCAOM, and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine to practice acupuncture in the state. He is also a research scientist in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM).
