At Harmony Community Wellness Center, our mission is to provide affordable, high quality acupuncture to the North County community. We do this by offering individualized treatments in a quiet, open community setting. We ask you to decide what you can afford on a sliding scale ($20-40). We want you to come often enough to really be able to get better and stay better, and the sliding scale is our way of helping you make that commitment. There is an additional $10 paperwork fee for your first appointment.

Dr. Jennifer Moffitt has been active on the cutting edge of integrating science and intuitive energy styles of healing for over 35 years. Formerly a research scientist at UC Davis, her background in clinical chemistry and neuroscience allows a blend of both eastern and western medicine in a unique way. Jennifer completed her MSTOM at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and her doctorate at 5 Branches University. She has advanced training in clinical neuroscience, trauma work and primitive reflex integration. She is currently publishing her research and creating advanced trauma based clinical training at the post-doc level.

Farahnaz Akhavan has worked in the alternative medicine and health care field for over 20 years. She worked in the field of OB/GYN and women's health for several years before becoming an alternative medicine practitioner. She also worked with the united nations as health care professional for two years. She has helped chronically ill patients for numerous years through pain management and nutritional / herbal consultation. She has post graduate training in pain management, migraine headache, and arthritis pain. She accepts attorney's lien for auto and work injuries.

Since graduation from medical college, Dr. Lucy Wang has served as a physician, acupuncturist and scientist. Dr. Wang has over 36 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and treating diseases, such as stroke/peripheral-neuropathy, heart disease, respiratory diseases, renal diseases, endocrine diseases and mood disorders. She was also well trained in one of prominent universities of traditional Chinese medicine. She has incorporated traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture to provide relief to perplexing conditions such as chronic pain, anxiety disorders, Allergy, Stress, Insomnia and infertility.

I have over 38 years experience as a health care practitioner in the United States and China. I graduated from Shandong Medical University in China. And began medical career as a physician at Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine University Dong Zhi Men Hospital. Since 2000 I have focused on Eastern medicine nature healings. That healing is the state of balance of Yin and Yang within the body. It is the vital energy known as "Self Healing Power". I have put a lots effort to help patients to get this power and heal themselves.

Qian Wang L.Ac. has over 23 years of experience in traditional Chinese medicine. Qian Wang was trained at the Acupuncture institute of Mainland China in Acupuncture and Oriental herbal medicine. Qian Wang is certified by the California Acupuncture Board as a California licensed Acupuncturist since 1995.
