As a retired professional ballet dancer, I have dedicated most of my life to the study of movement. I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. Once I stopped performing, it seemed only natural that I would gravitate toward a profession in the field of bodywork. Acupuncture was always helpful to me while I was dancing and I felt that practicing this amazing medicine would give me the opportunity to help others in the same way I was helped throughout my career. Jamie Fitzgerald MTCM LAc LMT earned her Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University. She was also privileged to complete her internship in Hangzhou, China at the prestigious Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. While interning she specialized in, TCM internal medicine, Acupuncture, Tui Na and Gynecology. Currently, Jamie is the owner of The Healing Point Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Clinic in Mesa, AZ. I went to study abroad in Japan in 1988 and learned acupressure and therapeutic massage techniques. 10 years later, I came to America and went to Dongguk Royal University to study traditional Chinese medicine. Meanwhile, I spent 4 years working at a Chiropractors clinic. After graduating in 2005, I obtained my acupuncturist license and began to practice. I earned my PhD of Oriental Medicine at American Liberty University in 2008. I taught at Alhambra Medical University and worked at my mentor's clinic.
