My ideal client is interested in returning themselves to optimal health, and is interested in doing what it takes to achieve that. I use acupuncture and Functional Medicine- science based herbalism and nutrition- to help them achieve these goals. I specialize in treating orthopedic pain conditions, Hashimotos's thyroiditis, Metabolic Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, autoimmune, digestive, inflammatory, and chronic ill health conditions. The mechanisms behind these are one and proper identification of the underlying issues and proper treatment and lifestyle modification can have a dramatic impact. Farahnaz Akhavan has worked in the alternative medicine and health care field for over 20 years. She worked in the field of OB/GYN and women's health for several years before becoming an alternative medicine practitioner. She also worked with the united nations as health care professional for two years. She has helped chronically ill patients for numerous years through pain management and nutritional / herbal consultation. While growing up she learned about a wide variety of herbs, and became natural to gaining extensive knowledge about herbal medicine from her families' business. She has a passion for Holistic treatment and she studied at South Baylo University, where she received her Ph.D degree specializing in Fertility. During her internships, she was awarded with a best internship award, and service award. In 2015 she was awarded patients choice Best Practitioner in the Inland Empire.

Wei-Chen obtained his Master degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University in Los Angeles; he also holds a PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist. Together with Huang, Wei-Chen co-founded the PV Acupuncture Clinic. His specializes in Pain Management, Sports Injuries and the management of fatigue with traditional Chinese medicine. Wei-Chen is also actively involved in promoting traditional Chinese Medicine in the community and has taken part in several health fairs events.
