As the owner of Elixir Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Center, I have two specializations as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine: Healthy Aging and Women's Health & Fertility. I manage a patient's health care by diagnosing and treating various pain disorders from simple to complex and providing appropriate acupuncture therapies to help alleviate pain and symptoms. In addition, I treat a variety of issues related to women’s health, such as PMS, Irregular or painful periods, Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Menopause, and Fertility, both naturally and through in vitro fertilization and pregnancy support.

My approach to health is collaborative and holistic; I want to understand who you are and how the imbalance/pain/disease originated, so that we can help the body heal. I typically employ deep acupressure before doing acupuncture, a unique style, and use food, herbs and supplements to strengthen the body. I enjoy teaching people about the traditional oriental philosophy and methods, and also teach relaxation practices and yoga poses.

With 20+ years of practice in China and US, Dr. Wu has accumulated sophisticated experience on diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases. Been practicing since 2001 as a licensed acupuncturist, She is a 1999 master alumna of Samra University of Oriental Medicine, NCCAOM Diplomat in Acupuncture & Herbal medicine, and research staff at UCLA. She started career as an attending physician in 1987 after graduating from Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Jing's considerate personality and flexible hours make patients willing to discuss their concerns, allowing her to make comprehensive treatment plans

Wei-Chen obtained his Master degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University in Los Angeles; he also holds a PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist. Together with Huang, Wei-Chen co-founded the PV Acupuncture Clinic. His specializes in Pain Management, Sports Injuries and the management of fatigue with traditional Chinese medicine. Wei-Chen is also actively involved in promoting traditional Chinese Medicine in the community and has taken part in several health fairs events.

I enjoy the process of assisting my patients on the road to healing. In my practice, I use many clinically proven therapies such as acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, homeopathy, and also modern therapies such as ElectroMagnetic and Acu - Touch. Farahnaz Akhavan has worked in the alternative medicine and health care field for over 20 years. She worked in the field of OB/GYN and women's health for several years before becoming an alternative medicine practitioner. She also worked with the united nations as health care professional for two years. She has helped chronically ill patients for numerous years through pain management and nutritional / herbal consultation.
