Miami Acupuncture & Classical Herbs was founded in 1994 by Dr. Carolyn Cook, an experienced practitioner with over 20 years of experience as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture Physician, and Licensed Massage Therapist. Dr. Cook is committed to an integrative approach to health, drawing on the rich wisdom of Classical Chinese medicine to address her patients’ individual needs. Her approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit, and seeks to promote balance and harmony in all aspects of life.

Dr. Xining Wang is the third generation of Wang’s Traditional Chinese Medicine. She started to learn acupuncture and TCM from her father and grandfather at a very young age. She received her bachelor’s degree in TCM in 2008. She practiced at the 1st and 2nd of Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine University. She finished her Medical Clerkship at Dalian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Wang has worked at ATOM’s student clinic as Clinic Supervisor and Director Assistant since 2017. She taught various courses including Meridians, Collaterals & Points I, II, III; Esthetics OF TCM; ENT in TCM; Pediatrics of TCM, etc.

My potential clients would include those suffering from pain an are on a lot of pain medications. Because I am board certified in bodywork and massage I have many techniques to assist with pain. My background in Social work prepares me for trauma patients those who are suffering from anxiety and depression due to trauma. Randel B Wing, L.Ac., DOM, NMD, is a graduate of the University of Wyoming, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, an 1800-hour intensive course in acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. Additional acupuncture training includes 720 hours at the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Harbin, China, where he attained his Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM). Dr. Wing is also a graduate of the American Naturopathic Medical Institute, Breyer State University.
