After receiving my masters and doctorate and teaching in my early career, I chose to follow a deeper passion through Oriental Medicine and received my Masters Degree in Acupuncture, Herbology and Oriental Medicine from the New York College for Wholistic Health, Education and Research and received my National Diplomate in Acupuncture from the NCCAOM.

Junyong Heo obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China in 2001. He has more than 20 years of study and clinical experience in South Korea and China. He moved to the U.S. to continue his practice as a Georgia Licensed and Board-certified Acupuncturist. He is also a member of the Chinese Acupuncture Association and the Korean Herbal Acupuncture Association.

Medical Acupuncture & Nutrition was founded in 2007. I am specialized in women's health issues, such as fibroid, endometriosis, infertility and menopause symptoms. Nicole Coughlin Ware is a Georgia native. She attended Vanderbilt University where she studied Psychology and Biology. After a stint in corporate America Nicole retuned to her original passion of health and medicine attending AIMC Berkeley CA. and received her Master's Oriental Medicine. She saw patients at the West Berkeley Clinic and AIMC's Community clinic and treated a wide variety of health related issues such as headaches, stress, insomnia, digestive complaints, and chronic aliments that did not respond to traditional medicine. Earning her California acupuncture and herbal license and NCCAOM degree she began her own practice in San Francisco.

Dr. Yifan liu has been a practitioner since he graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 1990. After eleven years of training in both Chinese and Western medicine, he obtained his Ph.D. in TCM from Tianjin University of TCM in 1999. He also has a Diploma of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners of Georgia. He worked at the AAAOM in MN from 2009 to 2014, when he moved to Savannah, GA.

Dr. McDonald graduated from Five Branches University with his Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree. His combined education in Oriental and Naturopathic medicine total over 12 years. His OM education also consisted of a Masters degree from East West College of Natural Medicine and a one-year postgraduate internship with Dr. David Cohen, DO, FAAMA. Prior to his Oriental medical education, Mel earned two doctoral degrees (ND-distance learning and NMD-residential). His naturopathic education was combined with a three-year externship at NEWS, with over 3,000 clinical hours alone and an additional 2,000+ hours didactic.

Binh T. Le is a fully qualified doctor of traditional Chinese medicine and has completed his Ph.D. in oriental medicine. Dr. Le is a specialist in pain managements. He received his training in the United States of America, where he graduated from South Baylo University of Oriental Medicine at Anaheim, California. He has received his Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University at California. Dr. Le is a licensed acupuncturist in California, Georgia, and Tennessee. He, also, has received certification in acupuncture and herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (N.C.C.A.O.M.)

I received my Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (N.C.C.A.O.M) and Licensed by the Georgia Composite Medical Board. Since 2002, as an acupuncturist, I have given thousands of treatments for various illnesses in the school’s clinic, at Cheng’s Acupuncture & Herb Center and since 2010 in my own business with 53 Acupuncture and Massage in Snellville.

The majority of patients see me for problems such as pain in the neck, shoulder, arm, lower back, knee and leg. caused by cervical and lumbar issues or chronic strain.
