At Matthew Berg Acupuncture in Great Barrington, we offer premier Oriental Medicine which consists of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Moxibustion, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Asian Bodywork modalities. Our Licensed Acupuncturists work to guide you along your path to balanced health and healing in a quiet, relaxed setting. Our goal is to empower you with the innate strength available in each of us through a series of rejuvenating treatments tailored to each individual patient who enters our office. As a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Traditional Chinese Medicine allows me the flexibility to treat each patient as an individual, creating treatment plans that are specific to their physical and emotional well-being. It is my goal to work collaboratively with each of my patients to help them achieve and maintain their health and wellness goals.

Christine is a licensed R.N., with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and twenty plus years of a hospital based nursing career. She is also a Master and Diplomat of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine; having graduated from a Doctor of OrientalMedicine/Acupuncture program at the International Inst. of Chinese Medicine in SantaFe, N.M. The focus of my practice is to make preventative care affordable, so it can be used preventatively! I use my knowledge of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and massage to provide individualized care to every patient. I look forward to working with you.

I offer a holistic and integrated approach to treating people. I familiarize myself with my patients’ goals for health and I adapt my treatment methods to achieve results. My style is grounded in the belief that our bodies have an innate wisdom to heal. I hold space for patients to heal so they can feel more joy and openness in their bodies. I listen with my ears and my hands to shift patterns. Sessions promote health, build resilience, and create lasting change.

The ancient art of Eastern Medicine wisdom now to be combined with modern research established protocols utilized for both acute and chronic disorders. Balancing the body following a full assessment via many modalities. Some of these modalities include acupuncture, herbal prescriptions, nutritional counseling, and fire cupping. Dr. Tetreault is board certified in Oriental Medicine and has a history of over 20 years working with pulmonary patients and now treats a diverse range of disorders ranging from pain management to infertility to the common cold.

After 36 years of practicing, I still love witnessing how much my patients are helped by Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine! In a safe and collaborative setting I address a wide range of physical and emotional issues that patients bring to my office. It is one of the beauties of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine that it treats the whole person. I consider myself a family practice acupuncturist, in that I welcome patients of all ages. I treat acute, chronic & stress related health conditions and women's health issues.

I became interested in natural healing techniques a long time ago. Considering the potential side effects of medicines commonly prescribed, I thought it worthwhile to study alternative methods of healing. Initially, I trained in Shiatsu and Massage Therapy, I graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1984. My post-graduate studies involved extensive training in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the New England School of Acupuncture. Most patients I see have some type of pain, lower back, sciatic, tennis elbow, arthritis just to name a few. I also am certified by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York for the treatment of cancer patients using acupuncture. Jeffrey S. Wernick, Lic. Ac., LICSW is a Licensed Acupuncturist with the Massachusetts Board of Medicine and Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 1984. He is a graduate of Queens College and the New England School of Acupuncture. He has been affiliated with the Shattuck hospital Pain and Stress Clinic, Massachusetts Osteopathic Hospital, Brockton Pain Management Group, and Kushi Institute.

I treat each patient as an individual, working with symptoms while balancing the body's energies to find a new healthy normal state. I find that with this kind of medicine, many issues resolve on the physical and emotional level. Most of my patients come in with pain syndromes, emotional issues, female health, infertility, digestive issues, and chronic illness. For chronic problems I often use herbs to support the treatment. I am a licensed acupuncturist with over 22 years of experience in private practice. I am dedicated to bringing acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to as many people as possible. My patients are of all ages - from elementary school children to wise elders. My practice falls into 3 categories - family care, pregnancy care and senior care. I have specialized in fertility, pregnancy, and labor & delivery and postpartum care for over 16 years and have helped many women get pregnant, stay pregnant, and have healthy pregnancies, deliveries, and post-partum. I often work in conjunction with doulas, midwives, and childbirth educators.

I am still amazed at the broad range of health issues that acupuncture can treat successfully.I have been in practice since 2003 and the top four issues that seem to show up at my office time and time again are migraine headache, anxiety, allergies and issues relating to female reproduction which include menstrual, menopausal and fertility health.
