I have twenty two years of experience in private practice and have ten years of teaching experience at Daoist Traditions, Asheville and the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Houston, Texas. I have had the privilege to be credentialed to work as an acupuncturist in three hospitals in Houston Texas: M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Hermann S.W. Hospital and M-Health Rehabilitation. Additionally, I practiced at the Chinese Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic in Asheville for eight years and currently am a senior practitioner at the Alternative Clinic in Asheville and Tryon N.C.

After treating patients for over 25 years, I have noticed a pattern, there are three types of patients that we see. Those with a passion for natural healing. Those frustrated with the current medical system. And those that are curious for new information on how to get well. No matter which group you may fall in, we can usually help you, I enjoy meeting and spending time with all of our patients, it is my purpose in life to assist others to their health potential.

I've seen the strengths and weaknesses of modern medicine firsthand as a Medic and Critical Care Nurse over 23 years. There is no easy way to convey the power I've s seen through Eastern Medicine techniques, many of which are now being brought to the mainstream. In addition Alise is a certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance. Alise received her Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego.
