As an RN and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, my passion is combining my knowledge of western medicine with my extensive training in Eastern Medicine to offer my patients a truly integrative approach to health. Joanna Jodar is a board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She is accredited by the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine. In addition, she is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and certified in Facial Rejuvenation. Her clinical experience includes working at various hospitals in New York such as St. Vincent's Hospital, Hospital for Joint Diseases and Lincoln Hospital. She has also completed clinical rotations in numerous hospitals in Beijing, China.

Laura earned a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and completed the Chinese Herbal Medicine Program from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies. She meets all standards outlined by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). With this knowledge, Laura is able to combine both Eastern and Western views to create a treatment approach that is unique to each individual.

My goal is to help patients heal on all levels of being, restore themselves to physical and emotional health, regain vitality and spiritual well-being, and prevent further illness through acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, nutrition and lifestyle counselling.
