Using various schools and methods of acupuncture and its related practices (diagnosis via the senses, touch, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, plum blossom, essential oils, crystals, magnets) we arrive at an understanding of the body-mind pattern and its treatment. I often prescribe Chinese herbs to address acute and chronic patterns. Modalities are selected based on your sensitivities and needs, as well as the levels we choose to address in treatment.

Yan Yan Yu, LAc graduated from Liao Ning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982 and practiced at Acupuncture at Liao Ning University Hospital of Traditional Medicine before moving to the United States. She has over 40 years of experience in treating patients with internal medicine, OB/GYN, infertility, to pain management aliments, and specializes in Acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, and cupping techniques.

Dr. Wang is a NYS duly licensed acupuncturist who was brought up from a long line of traditional Chinese acupuncturists and herbologists in her family. Dr. Wang experience resonated from her acupuncturist practices both in Kunming, China and the United States. She is experienced in both traditional and neo-modern acupuncture treatment. This combined diagnostic approach allows her to focus on commonly encountered ailments as well as treating modern lifestyle related issues.

I am a National Board Certified Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine(NCCAOM) licensed by the state of New York and New Jersey. Dr.Frank Zhao is an Acupuncture expert who has been practicing for over 40 years. He graduated from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984. He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He was the director of the Acupuncture Dept. in China, a Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School.
