I bring to my practice extensive knowledge of the body gained from my training as a physician and Ob/Gyn in China, and through my 18 years as an practicing acupuncturist. At our clinic we work holistically in both our diagnosis (TCM) and treatment. We believe that pain and disease both manifest from imbalances in Qi, which is the fundamental energy flowing through us. An imbalance in Qi can cause many problems throughout the body.

I am an accomplished alternative healthcare professional, with over 28 years of hands on experience in the bodywork field. I am passionate about acupuncture because of what it has done for me personally, and the positive results that I have witnessed for so many of my patients. It is important to me as your practitioner, to provide a treatment plan that is unique to you, and supports your health goals. I usually ask that you commit to 3 treatments. Generally, results are experienced by then. At that time we will re-evaluate and determine which course of action is best.

I am a co-owner and creator of Cornerstone Healing, a private Acupuncture practice located in Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn, NY. Cornerstone Healing has been in practice since 2003. Cornerstone Healing's practice is dedicated to the well being of individual patients and the community as a whole. I incorporate different modalities into my treatment plan. It can include Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, and Bodywork. Sometimes electro-stimulation will be used as well as cupping therapy. Dr. Wang is a NYS duly licensed acupuncturist who was brought up from a long line of traditional Chinese acupuncturists and herbologists in her family. Dr. Wang experience resonated from her acupuncturist practices both in Kunming, China and the United States. She is experienced in both traditional and neo-modern acupuncture treatment. This combined diagnostic approach allows her to focus on commonly encountered ailments as well as treating modern lifestyle related issues.

She earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health Sciences, a Master's in Health Science and Acupuncture from The New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola. Dr.Frank Zhao is an Acupuncture expert who has been practicing for over 40 years. He graduated from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984. He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He was the director of the Acupuncture Dept. in China, a Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association, Professor of New York College of Health Professions, Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists.

I graduated the top of my class from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1989. I had worked at Beijing Hospital in the acupuncture department for 13 years. I came to the USA to take a clinical acupuncturist position offered to me in 2002 and I started my own business in 2003.
