I was trained at Zhejiang Traditional Medical College and Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medical University in China. After I received my Chinese medical degree in 1985 and MS degree in 1988, I worked as an Assistant Professor and Professor at the Medical College of Wenzhou, P.R. of China. After I received my Ph.D from Kanazawa Medical University, Japan, I engaged in both high quality medical research and clinical work in traditional Chinese medicine. Upon completion of my degree, I decided to continue my research in pulmonary biology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Acupuncture has essentially no negative side effects as it utilizes the body's own infinitely intelligent healing mechanism to produce healing. It does this by allowing the body to regulate it's own life force energy(QI) flow throughout energy pathways. What we feel as pain is blockage in the flow of energy and the blood that it circulates. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with decades experience. I studied at Hubei University of Chinese Medicine, China, for five years and received my medical degree. For several years, I held a staff position as an attending physician at The Hospital of Tongji Medical University. I earned my PhD in Medicine at the University of Leuven, Belgium, and certified by Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in the United States. I have published chapters in several books and over thirty original articles on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in peer-reviewed journals. I have experience with patients who have diverse backgrounds and various conditions.
