My practice style begins with a deep listening as a new patient describes their reason for coming in. Most conditions are some combination of physical and emotional imbalance which then manifest at the symptom level. Unraveling the underlying imbalance is the key to a long term resolution of the symptoms. Treatment may include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage, diet and lifestyle changes. I also like to teach patients about Chinese medicine, and their body's energetic systems through discussion and demonstration during their sessions.

A native of China, Dr. Lu is widely recognized as an exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced senior practitioner in the arts of acupuncture, herbal medicine and Chinese tuina massage for two decades. Formally educated and trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, both in China and the U.S., and with 20 years of teaching, research, and clinical experience in those two countries, Dr. Lu has helped thousands of patients to achieve their goals of living healthy and happier lives.

Dr. Jia is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Chinese Herbologist through NCCAOM. He graduated from the prestigious Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, after which he practiced both Western and Chinese medicine at Beijing Hospital for 12 years, and has recieved excellent training after graduation.

I find that acupuncture almost always helps patients with pain, both in the short and long terms. My needling style is gentle, I'm told, and my massage style is effective without leaving you feeling too bruised. I am thorough and make it a point to listen carefully your story so I can give you the best treatment possible.
