Nicole Coughlin Ware is a Georgia native. She attended Vanderbilt University where she studied Psychology and Biology. After a stint in corporate America Nicole retuned to her original passion of health and medicine attending AIMC Berkeley CA. and received her Master's Oriental Medicine. She saw patients at the West Berkeley Clinic and AIMC's Community clinic and treated a wide variety of health related issues such as headaches, stress, insomnia, digestive complaints, and chronic aliments that did not respond to traditional medicine. Earning her California acupuncture and herbal license and NCCAOM degree she began her own practice in San Francisco.

For 10 years, I worked at the Chinese Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic in Asheville, NC, the largest Chinese Medicine group practice in the Southeast. I regularly treated difficult conditions, such as Meniere's disease, migraines and asthma. I use herbal medicine, cupping, dietary support, tui na (Chinese massage), and other modalities that are an integral part of Chinese medicine. My office is located near the intersection of Haywood and E North ST.

I see people of all ages for both "simple" and very complex issues. Pain, digestive concerns and stress/anxiety are frequently chief complaints. The first visit is at least two hours long. We will address all aspects of your health from many perspectives. You will receive an acupuncture treatment (if you wish) and there will be written recommendations at the end.
