“During my 13 years of formal studying and practicing of TCM, I have found that it is truly a natural and effective alternative when drug options are limited or unavailable. It especially benefits women during pregnancy and those who are going through assisted reproductive technology, chemotherapy or other operations. Beyond these, I also treat neuro-musculo-skeletal, gastrointestinal, gynecological, psychological, cosmetic conditions, etc. My cultural background and experience combined with Master's degree in psychology and TCM allow me to provide sensible and effective treatments. The end result is healing of a whole person rather than the disease alone.

“I don't consider Traditional Chinese Medicine to be 'alternative medicine'. Certainly it is an alternative to the western approach and drug companies. Chinese Medicine has a history over 2,500 years and it is still as relevant as it ever has been. Seeing the body, mind and spirit as an integral whole allows us to treat the whole person and seeming unrelated systems. My experience is this integration has been pivotal in my own enhanced wellness and freedom from pain.
“Acupuncture treats a variety of health concerns such as back and neck pain, shoulder and hip pain, elbow and knee pain, headaches and migraines, anxiety and depression, women's health, and the common cold, sore throat and congestion. Acupuncture is a therapy, and much like therapies such as chiropractic, physical therapy and massage, you will receive the best results with consistent treatments. If you are seeking help with a chronic issue, multiple visits will be recommended for best results. Acupuncture is also used as preventive medicine and can help keep your immune system strong and healthy.

Acupuncture in Minnesota (MN) - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. Minnesota (MN) acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.
Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into a number of trigger points on your body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.
'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
